Goals and objectives
The project aimed to elevate National Geographic’s presence in Latvia by spotlighting local personalities mirroring the channel’s global icons in spirit and expertise. Over three months, we introduced inspirational figures in areas like adventure, history, cuisine, science, and journalism. These figures were paralleled with their National Geographic counterparts to spark interest in the channel’s content. Public voting added an interactive element, culminating in a series of exciting video adventures for the winners.
The campaign’s impact was measurable: 25 articles with 170,162 views (top article surpassing 19,000 views), an average read time of over 3 minutes, and a staggering 289,000 video views, backed by a 13.5 million-impression self-promotion campaign on Delfi.
