How Deloitte Used Television and Online Media to Showcase the Future of Artificial Intelligence

Goals and objectives

Explaining in a simple and straightforward manner how artificial intelligence will impact our lives and futures, is the goal of the branded content project we have developed together with Deloitte, titled ”AI: THE FUTURE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE”.

The outcome? A 48-minute television episode specially designed and produced for the client, hosted by science communicator Barbara Gallavotti and aired on La7. Several guests intervened to delve into the topic from various perspectives:

• Rita Cucchiara from the University of Modena, a member of the Italian Coordination Committee on Artificial Intelligence.
• Giorgio Metta, director of the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa.
• Giuseppe Curigliano from the European Institute of Oncology, specializing in researching new strategies against tumors.
• Fedez, who brings the social generation’s vision of how creativity will integrate human imagination and technology.
• Andrea Poggi, Innovation Leader at Deloitte, identifying symbiotic intelligence as the necessary evolution of collaboration between humans and machines.
• Father Paolo Benanti, also a member of the new United Nations Committee on Artificial Intelligence.
• The episode aired on La7 on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:20 PM. There were two replays: Sunday, December 10, at 11:50 PM, and Saturday, December 23, at 11:30 PM.

In addition to TV broadcasts, a visibility plan was implemented on La7.it and Corriere.it. On Corriere.it, a video channel was created featuring four video excerpts from the television episode. Each of these excerpts gained visibility through native launches on the site and on the homepage of Corriere.it, as well as video posts on Corriere’s Facebook channel.
