Molly DeMellier is the Director of Marketing and PR, US at Acast where she is responsible for developing strategic paid and earned communications plans as well as conducting media relations throughout the region. Since joining Acast in 2021, Molly has built and executed a public relations strategy that has garnered press coverage across podcasting and advertising trade publications as well as top tier media outlets including Bloomberg, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and more. Molly has also played an integral role in leading Acast’s communications in key industry partnerships such as with President Barack and Mrs. Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground and Warner Bros. Discovery. Prior to her role at Acast, Molly worked in PR agencies across New York City where she managed client and media relations for a variety of brands including Netflix, iHeartMedia, Getty Images, PlayVS, and more. During this time she helped to launch the Netflix Top 10 List, which is a major part of the platform today, and also aided in writing communications for industry leaders including Reed Hastings, Ted Sarandos, and Conal Byrne as well as celebrities such as Will Ferrell, Shonda Rhimes, and Charlamagne tha God.
