Maureen Ifada is the Marketing Director of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc. She began her career in the Consumer Marketing Department as a Management Trainee in 2003 and rose through the ranks to become part of the Management Team in February 2024. 
She is a highly skilled professional business manager with a robust commercial acumen in Marketing and Sales. She has a strong technical background, extensive business knowledge, and a proven track record of success and adaptability. Armed with excellent communication and people skills, Maureen possesses a keen eye for organizational strategy, business development, and a passion for innovative ideas. 
In her prior role as the Head of Channel & Category Development and Head of Shopper Marketing, Maureen consistently demonstrated her prowess in conceptualizing and formulating comprehensive channel and category strategies. She showcased her expertise in driving retail and shopper conversion, leading digital transformations, and successfully implementing shopper marketing strategies. She has a successful history of translating strategic brand plans into winning channel initiatives and visibility strategies across Sub-Saharan Africa. Maureen led the repositioning of Three Crowns Milk on the “Healthy Mums Happy families” proposition which changed the narrative by providing care to the caregivers (Moms). This cemented the brand as a top dairy brand in Nigeria. In her role as Marketing Manager Peak, Maureen developed winning strategies that has ensured Peak remains the #1 dairy brand in Nigeria even after 70 years.
Maureen possesses a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, as well as a Master's in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Her educational journey also includes a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom. She is a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNiMN), Member Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom, and Top 50 most influential women in Marketing and Communications.
