Goals and objectives
Montepio Geral – Associação Mutualista (MGAM), the biggest mutual association in Portugal, publishes VOA magazine, created by Pato Lógico Edições, a publishing house of illustrated albums and children's books.
The magazine is sent quarterly for children from 0 to 10 years old. Issue no. 1 was published at the end of 2014, designed and illustrated by André Letria. Since then 13 more issues were published, all around specific themes, with different illustrators, chosen together with the client.
This project has the following objectives:
- Create an engaging design that accompanies the children, through games, interactions and interventions, supporting their learning and development;
- Develop intelligent graphic solutions for a fluid interaction between text and image, both illustration and photography;
- Facilitate the reading experience through a good choice of typography;
- Consolidate the magazine as a reference in the editorial market on the children segment.
