Goals and objectives
BBC StoryWorks captured stories from this epic expedition. Starting with testing similar terrains in Iceland to following the Royal Enfield expedition team as they prepared for the trip and going back to their Technology Centre in England to show the scale and innovation needed to make a ‘Himalayan’ motorcycle fit for the South Pole followed by reminiscing the expedition after, these stories were an honest account of how treacherous and challenging the expedition was.
Thus, the campaign was divided in three stages – pre-expedition, during expedition and post-expedition presented in the form of 7 episodic style short videos and hosted on an exclusive microsite created for the brand along with thorough promotions across BBC.com and BBC StoryWorks’ social media handles. This was also the first time we collaborated with Top Gear - leveraging the platform relevancy for the brand.
