Gone, But Not Forgotten

Goals and objectives

25 years ago, Croatia was a war-front, fighting for the independence of the country. However, even though the battle is over, families of one’s who fought in the Homeland war still carry the pain of not knowing the fate of their loved ones.

There are over 1924 of people gone missing in the war. The people have long forgotten about them but their families didn’t. We didn’t either.

The Associations of families of detained and missing persons during the Homeland War has a clear goal and it is continuously looking for Gone over the years. As years were passing by people naturally left the past behind while focusing on the future. But this step further is unattainable for those who want to dissolve the fate of their loved ones.

Although the Associations of families of detained and missing persons during the Homeland War keeps fighting against forgetting the Gone with the same intensity over years, their biggest enemy is time because it leads to oblivion among the nation.

So, we partnered with the Associations on their mission of raising the nation’s awareness of the people gone missing. As Croatia’s number one media, we constantly fight for the rights of the common man, raising awareness about important social issues, without compromise. Doing the job we know best, we wanted to prevent the memory of the missing in the War from fading away and become the voice of the Gone among our large audience of 1 in 2 Croats we reach daily.
