The first US edition of the Native Advertising Awards has just concluded in New York.

The best campaigns, strategies and studios in the States were celebrated at the DotDash Meredith Event Center.

Awards were given out in 28 categories, ranging from Best Strategy and Best Use of Video to Best Use of Social Media and Native Advertising Marketer of the Year.

Fortune Brand Studio came out as one of the big winners of the night, taking home GOLD in Best B2B Campaign for Reinventing the Fortune 500, GOLD in Best Print Publication for The Texas Draw, SILVER in Best Use of Video for Reinventing the Fortune 500, SILVER in Best IT & Tech Program for Reinventing the Fortune 500, BRONZE in Best Use of Text for The Texas Draw and GOLD in Native Advertising Agency/Studio of the Year (under 20 employees).

“All day, I’ve been surrounded by people I have admired for a decade or more, so for us to stand out amongst them feels great. It’s just been special to be around people here in NYC to make connections, have some laughs and create relationships that can last a lifetime. And winning amongst all them just makes us want to do even better for next year,” said David Lennon, SVP & Head of Fortune Brand Studio.

However, it didn’t end there for David Lennon, as he also took home the award for Native Advertising Marketer of the Year.

“It’s weird because the only reason I win this award is due to all the other talented people that I have around me now and have previously surrounded me throughout my career. That’s what it’s all about. Surrounding yourself with good talent, skills, hard work and good mates. It’s all about who you grow with, and that’s why I really wanted to bring my whole team to the stage with me,” said David Lennon.

A real privilege

But Fortune Brand Studio wasn’t the only studio to take home multiple awards.

Forbes Content & Design Studio took home GOLD in Best Brand Awareness Campaign for Sheep Dog Impact Assistance Campaign, GOLD in Best Retail Program for Tequila with A´Hart and BRONZE in Native Advertising Agency/Studio of the Year (over 20 employees).

“We are really just honored to be here, and then to actually be nominated and to win multiple awards is a real privilege. And we really just love the NAI and can’t wait to get back next year,” said Josh Robinson, SVP at Forbes Content & Design Studio (US).

An extreme honor

DotDash Meredith claimed GOLD in Native Advertising Agency/Studio of the Year (over 20 employees), GOLD in Best Strategy for Meal Culture Engine: A First-of-it’s-Kind, Data-Driven Content Ecosystem, SILVER in Best Use of Social for Meal Culture Engine: Translating Trends Before They Peak, SILVER in Best Use of AI for Campbell’s Dinner Inspiration: AI-Fueled Content Creation, SILVER in Best Automotive Program for Harmony in Healdsburg, BRONZE in Best B2C Campaign for Billie Jean King’s Path To Parity and BRONZE in Best Financial Services Program for Billie Jean King’s Path To Parity.

“All the greatest in the business is gathered here today, so to be among the nominees and winners is an extreme honor. I admire all the other studios' work greatly, so it feels wonderful to win,” said Justin Cross SVP, Head of Native Content at DotDash Meredith
