One of the most successful media launches in recent history, Quartz has eschewed tradition since its launch in 2012 — making its way to financial success through high-quality business journalism and exclusively native solutions for advertisers. Currently, Zazie Lucke leads both consumer marketing and Quartz Creative — the nexus of branded content development for all Quartz advertising partners.
Prior to that, Zazie served at the head of Global Marketing of Bloomberg Media Group, Bloomberg L.P.’s global multi-platform media organization that comprises web, mobile, television, digital video, radio, print magazines and live events. There, she launched Bloomberg Denizen, a content marketing solution for advertisers that combined journalistic expertise with deep, data-driven consumer insight. Earlier, she led the marketing efforts around the resurgence of The Atlantic from a venerable print magazine to a digital powerhouse and held senior marketing positions responsible for advertising partnerships at Rolling Stone, US Weekly, Men’s Journal and The Week.
