Goals and objectives

From two consecutive award-winning native advertising campaigns in 2020 and 2021, to four repeat campaigns and a big sponsorship of a flagship news event in 2022: that is the story of Adspace24’s growing partnership with Nedbank. Nedbank is a ‘big 4’ South African bank, and News24 is the country’s largest online news publisher with over a million readers a day. At Adspace24, we brought these two brands together to produce world class native content for three years running. In 2022, we won WAN-IFRA’s Best African Digital Advertising Project, produced four high-quality content campaigns, and sponsored our first ever News24 summit. Revenue from this one, treasured client went from R6.3m in 2021/22 to R9m in 22/23 - representing a 43% growth year-on-year. Objectives: - To generate increased and repeat revenue for Adspace24 and News24 by continuing to create world-class native content in a trusted, brand safe news environment. - To maintain our special relationship with Nedbank by expanding into new territory, such as a sponsorship of a first-of-its kind news event. - To position Nedbank as a premier banking client and hit messaging around climate change, business growth, transformation, e-commerce, investment; and supporters of democracy.
